Wellspring of Joy
John 17:20-21
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Pondering Point
Imagine Jesus praying; hear Him in your mind with the following words, a brief expansion of this part of John 17: “Father I don’t just pray for my current disciples. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message. I want them to all be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. What a blessing it would be if they could experience the type of relationship that We have with each other! Let them become one in Us so that the world can see and believe that You sent Me for their benefit. How great it would be! Yes Father – this I pray for! Amen.”

Prayer
Father God, my prayer is not for myself alone. I pray also for those who will come to believe in You through encounters with me and other disciples. May we all be one in You and under You Father, just as Jesus and You are one. Let me be involved in this world in such a way that others recognize that You sent me into their world – in the name of Jesus. Amen
My list of people whom I am praying to encounter the true iving God and believe that Jesus was sent by Him.
