1 Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own… (verse 20 tomorrow).

• In Christ, I am a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in me, and I will I will honor God with my body.
Pondering Point
In the Word of God, you are defined as a temple for God. Multiple times, the bible describes Jesus’ followers collectively as a temple (1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Peter 2:5).
Today’s scripture states that individually we are temples where the Holy Spirit has taken up residence. That is utter holiness residing inside you and communing with your heart, soul and spirit. Therefore honor God with your body.
Prayer for the Day
Thank You Heavenly Father, for the holiness credited to me through faith in Jesus Christ my Lord. I now pray that Your Holy Spirit fill this temple and produces in me a holiness in action that reflects Your holiness as the Heavenly Father. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
