At the risk of being overly obvious, now repent of your failures to love by not doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Return (as necessary)

Power to carry out the Golden Rule as a disciple of Jesus comes from God. The best way to do this is to stay close to God. Let God’s love inspire you.

Prayer

Father God, I want to be with You in worship, prayer, study and meditation of Your word, fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ, and in small breaks throughout my day. Have Your Spirit guide and fuel my ability to carry out the Golden Rule for Your honor. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Psalm 119:17-24 (Gimel, 3rd letter)

Be good to your servant while I live,
that I may obey your word.
Open my eyes that I may see
wonderful things in your law.
I am a stranger on earth;
do not hide your commands from me.
My soul is consumed with longing
for your laws at all times.
You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed,
those who stray from your commands.
Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.
Though rulers sit together and slander me,
your servant will meditate on your decrees.
Your statutes are my delight;
they are my counselors.
