Call to Gather, Pray and Worship God
Prayer for the Upcoming Discipleship Series
Father God, bless our lives of discipleship that they are lived to Your glory and to our edification. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as in heaven. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Romans 16:20

Crushed Under Your Feet
The fact that the God of peace is going to crush Satan is not a surprise. We would expect Satan to be crushed under God’s feet – say in the person of Jesus.
But that Satan would be crushed under our feet, that is a twist that is possible only by the GRACE of our Lord Jesus poured into our lives directly. Praise be to Jesus!
Proverbs with God's Wisdom
Proverbs 5:21
For your ways are in full view of the LORD,
and he examines all your paths.
Proverbs 5:22-23
The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare them;
the cords of their sins hold them fast.
For lack of discipline they will die,
led astray by their own great folly.
Prayer
Lord God Almighty, our Father and our God, I pray that you enable Pastor Paul’s mind (heart, soul, and will) to gain understanding – and that he humbles himself before You. God, You are seeking after him and there are things happening around him that are calling for a deeper spiritual understanding and practice on his part. Help him to rise to the occasion. Bless him as he comes to experience more of this needed spirituality in this climate of today. Help him choose to not settle for less, but hunger for You above all things. He comes at Your request knowing that he cannot find You without the Holy Spirit. He needs You today. Bless him to hear and follow. Show him the way and strengthen him as he pursues it. Guide him and enlighten him -- particularly in those spiritually dark places; encourage him when he gets weary, challenge him in the comfortable and ordinary places - and protect him Father God from his enemy the evil one. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
