Romans 14:13
Let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
Pondering Point
The role of the Christian is not to pass judgment on others but to pass forgiveness onto others who come and go in our lives – and especially those who stay in our lives. Even our attitude from the get-go is to be one of ‘prepared to forgive’ rather than ‘snap to judge.’ Is this the "mindset" of your heart?
Prayer Prompt
Father God, orient the mindset of my heart to be prepared to forgive rather than snap to judge. Change my heart, my mind and my spirit to be aligned with Your will. Even though I may not do it perfectly, help me do it well and often. I pray this to occur in me and in those I live among. In Jesus’ name I ask it. Amen.
