We love because he first loved us.

Today we rejoice that God loves us.
- That He loved us first. 1 John 4:19
- That He loves us with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3
- That He gave His life for us out of love. Galatians 2:20
- That He is slow to anger and abounding in love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15
- That His love is rich in mercy. Ephesians 2:4
- That we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. Romans 8:37

19 We love because he first loved us.
Jeremiah 31:3
3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
Galatians 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Psalm 86:15
But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Prayer for the Day
I thank You Heavenly Father for the love that You brought in my life, for granting me new life in Jesus, and for enabling me to love other people out of a gracious place. Let me serve out of that gracious place, based not on needing to receive, but wanting to give what You first gave me. I love You Father; thanks for loving me Amen.
